OUR PROJECTS

Box Palletising

Industry: Food Production

Application: Automatic palletising of cardboard boxes. Muesli cartons leave the machine every 19 seconds, and the robot can palletise 48 cartons in under 16 minutes. The system can switch between two programs depending on product type. Each carton weighs 9 kg.

Robot Used: Fanuc CRX25IA collaborative robot
Two palletising positions keep operator handling smooth and continuous. A floor scanner monitors movement in the robot area, so no safety fencing is required even in a narrow space.

Automated Material Loading

Industry: Automotive

Application: Loading material into a cassette machine directly from a pallet.

Objective: To eliminate difficult manual loading. Operators previously had to repeatedly pick parts, climb to an elevated loading position, fill the input feeders and, if time allowed, handle other parts of the machine. This led to frequent downtime during loading and quality checks..

Solution: The input pallet is placed on an automatic lift. A UR20 collaborative robot picks two full material packs at a time, moves them along a linear axis and places them into the machine. After each full layer is removed, the pallet is raised to keep the picking height constant. Once the transport straps are cut, they are automatically removed and discarded.

Result: Operators no longer need to handle routine machine loading apart from replacing an empty pallet with a full one, and can focus on the parts of the line that directly affect product quality..

Technology: UR20 collaborative robot, custom dual-action gripper, modified machine loading jaws, automated handling and identification of cut transport straps

Interesting Note: We delivered three pallet-to-machine loading installations for the same customer across different production plants. Because the machines had different dimensions, each solution required a custom robot travel axis, optical position recognition during picking and vertical pallet positioning.

Plating Line Handling

Industry: Automotive

Application: Removing semi-finished parts from the conveyor of a plating line.

Objective: To eliminate difficult manual handling and divert parts to a buffer whenever downstream operations become overloaded.

Solution: A FANUC collaborative robot removes parts from the conveyor when needed and places them into a dedicated buffer based on a gravity conveyor. Operators can then either return the parts to the process or transfer them to specialised transport containers for further processing elsewhere.

Result: Manual removal of parts from a running conveyor was eliminated.

Technology: FANUC CRX 10iA/L collaborative robot, custom gripper

AMR Line Loading

Industry: Automotive

Application: Transporting semi-finished parts between two operations and robotically loading them into the line.

Objective: To reduce difficult manual transport of heavy KLT boxes and improve the consistency of line supply.

Solution: At the output of the grinding line, the operator fills a KLT box with semi-finished parts. The box is then automatically loaded onto an AMR, which transports it to the input of the plating line. There, a collaborative robot transfers the parts from the KLT box onto the input conveyor. Empty KLT boxes are then returned to the loading station by the AMR.

Result: Less manual transport, smoother line supply and better use of operator capacity at the plating line input.

Technology: FANUC CRX 10iA/L collaborative robot, custom gripper, KUKA 600S AMR

Handling and Inspection

Industry: Hygiene Products

Application: Diaper packs leave the machine every 5 seconds. The process includes optical inspection of the seal after pack closing, visual inspection of the printed batch marking, pack alignment for robotic handling, manual-mode conveyor operation for removing defective packs, support for 40 pack types, and a cartoning machine for folding and sealing cardboard boxes.

A floor scanner monitors movement in the robot area, so no safety fencing is required.
